Community Open Days

Community Open Days

Come along to our Community Open Days this July

Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue Service along with Northamptonshire Police and Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner Danielle Stone are inviting you to join us at one of our Community Open Days, this July!

Come along to meet your local emergency service personnel as they demonstrate what they do and what they use on a daily basis to keep the community safe.

You will be able to climb on board our Joint Command Unit, get an up-close look at our operational kit, meet our prevention teams and watch some demonstrations.

Whether you’re interested in joining the emergency services or just want to find out more about what we all do, there is something for everyone at our Community Open Days, so come along to your closest event.

We are holding two open days, one in the north of the county and one the west:

  • Saturday, July 19, 2025, 11am to 4pm – Wicksteed Park
  • Sunday, July 27, 2025, 11am to 4pm – Delapre Abbey

More information on the day will be announced closer to the event.

Please note, some displays will be subject to operational demand on the day.

Tickets

The Open Days are free events, so you do not need to book tickets – just come along with your family and friends!

You can let us know you’re coming via our Facebook events: Wicksteed ParkDelapre Abbey
