Can you draw a firefighter?

Firefighters with members of the Prevention team

Calling young artists (whether off school or still going to school) who are looking for some extra activities to get involved with!

Take a look at our  attached photo which features two of our firefighters (far right and far left) wearing our distinctive gold kit. Do you think you could draw a firefighter and send your artwork into us by email?

Our firefighters get involved with all sorts of rescues, including rescues from fire as well as animal rescues, road collision and water rescues.

If you are aged 16 or under, we are inviting you to send in some artwork, a drawing or painting, showing a firefighter. They might be in action, in a fire engine, hosing down a fire, standing outside a fire station – have a think about how you would like to show them and send in your artwork to us.

Some of the best pieces of artwork will be shared on our social media channels or printed and used to decorate some of our stations.

To send in your artwork, email: LArmstrong@northantsfire.gov.uk or JGouldson@northantsfire.gov.uk

Email us with your artwork attached and let us know your name and age. Please don’t write your name and age at the front of the artwork, just include it in your email.

For more activities to keep young minds busy, please visit the new area of our website, on: https://www.northantsfire.gov.uk/kidzone/

Good luck, and get drawing or painting!
