Firefighters are in attendance at a fire in Bulwick, near Weldon, where the thatched roof of a building is ablaze.
Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue Service were called to the property shortly after 6.30pm this evening, Tuesday, February 12.
Six pumps are at the property in Main Street and firefighters are expected to remain on scene for the rest of the night.
Neighbouring properties have been evacuated and people nearby are advised to keep their doors and windows closed while the fire is being tackled.
A cordon is in place and motorists are advised to take an alternative route if travelling in the area.
